Digital Literacy

Digital literacy is the ability to use information and communication technologies to find, evaluate, create, and communicate information, requiring both cognitive and technical skills. Often, underserved adults lack the basic computer and digital literacy skills that have helped advance so many others to more easily navigate the workforce and everyday life.

Currently, we offer basic Digital Literacy to parents of children enrolled in Head Start through our partnership with a Pre-K program in Rockville. While their children are receiving Pre-K instruction, our learners receive both free ESL instruction as well as Digital Literacy instruction.

COMING SOON: We will offer FREE Digital Literacy courses to learners who are interested in getting a job in technology. We will take them from the basics of using a computer to obtaining a certification for a trade.
