Cindy Juárez-Choza – Director of Operations

IMG_02141-e1466083581274Cindy has over twelve years of experience working in nonprofit organizations. Besides years of providing direct human services to families in Montgomery County, Cindy spent several years working with the National Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health and also spent time providing job readiness tools to underprivileged adults in the Skid Row neighborhood of Los Angeles, an area with one of the largest populations of homeless people nationwide. Cindy holds an M.B.A. and B.S. in Family Studies from the University of Maryland.

Cindy is a proud Montgomery County native, and she also loves to celebrate her Salvadoran cultural background. As a first-generation American, she understands how important ESL literacy programs are and is happy to be a part of LCMC.  Cindy is fluent in Spanish. She and her family avidly follow professional sports and split allegiances between DC and LA teams.
